Bill Willingham’s comic book series, Fables, is coming to ABC:

The network has handed out a put pilot commitment to the fantasy project, based on the comic book created by Bill Willingham and published by DC’s Vertigo imprint.

Fables remains one of the last comics I still read (albeit in its trade format), but I’m a little concerned about ABC, which recently snuffed out the fables-esque Pushing Daisies, one of the smartest written shows in recent memory.
